jack-he's one of a kind. he doesn't like to listen to me. he loves to try my patience. he claims he gets distracted by everything so it's not his fault he's never ready for school on time. he drives me up a wall most of the time. but, i wouldn't have it any other way. (i lie...if i could make a few tweaks then yeah, i wouldn't have it any other way)
even though the kid can single handedly pull out every toy he owns and drag it into the living room in 2 minutes flat, i still love him to pieces. he never fails to bring a smile to my face. he truly has a big heart. plus, the kid is hilarious. i know everyone thinks their kid is hilarious. but, seriously, they don't come close to jack.
another thing about jack is his willingness to help me out...even when i don't ask. he helps with sammy-throws her diapers away-watches her while i pick up-makes her laugh-snuggles her.
jack is also into helping me save money, apparently. why just the other day he had the most.brillian.idea.ever.
jack: mom if you want me to test my christmas presents for you to make sure i like them i can. then if i don't like them you can take them back so you don't waste money.
me: oh, you mean you would play with them and make sure you really like them before i wrap them up for christmas?
jack: yep! i would do that for you, mommy.
me: jack, that is so sweet of you. but, darn it, i already wrapped them.
jack: well, we can take the paper off carefully and then if i think they are fun and want to keep them we can wrap them up again.
seriously, what have i gotten into?
