it happened. i'm not sure how or why it even had to happen. but, it did and i'm not happy about it. you turned another year older. why oh why? i refuse to believe you turned 5. i wasn't happy when you turned 1. got a little annoyed when you turned 2. was in denial when you turned 3. and i was numb when you turned 4. lucky for you i was disoriented when you turned 5 (sister was born 1 week before your birthday) so your birthday just sort of happened without my consent. otherwise, my sweet baby, you'd still be 4. i've been going through a lot of pictures of you the past few months and came across this one. i remember this day like it was yesterday. its one of my favorites. what a precious boy i have.
jack i love you more than you'll ever know. thanks for being mommy's best buddy. i love you to the moon....and back.
